Audiences were invited to come take a walk with us down memory lane on Main Street, Unionville, as tales from the past came to life right before their eyes. The Markham Tales was created by FIXT POINT, and performed by professional actors and musicians in collaboration with the community. This site-specific spectacle took us back to the days of the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker, traveling through time to the era of antique shops, and then leading us into the future of this storied street. Our audience members met us at the Unionville Millenium Bandstand to take the tour and then joined us for a FREE panel discussion and reception at the Varley Gallery.
